Installation Instructions for CP-2203G Ford Small Block V8 Engine Swap Kit for 1935-1940 Ford Car and Pickup Truck using weld-in IFS front crossmember.

Note: Even though this kit is intended for weld-in IFS, it will also work with any swap that uses boxing plates that require weld-in engine mounts.

1. Install any new crossmembers in frame. We recommend using 3/16″ boxing plates.

2. Frame adapters may need fitting due to several variables involved with boxing-plate installation. Use the measurements below to fit the frame adapters:

3. Make sure mounts are straight, level and exactly 20″ center to center. Tack in place, then double check all measurements and perform final weld.

4. Bolt engine mounts to block and install engine. Installer is responsible for final fit.

Install cushion set as shown
