ES-1167 Transmission Crossmember for 1948-1954 Chevy and GMC Pickup (Turbo700,OverDrive)

Bolt on unit uses original holes for ease of mounting. Fits trucks measuring 20-5/8″ from engine to center holes on transmission mount.

Installation Instructions for ES-1167 Transmission Mount for Turbo 700 for 1948-1954 Chevy Pickup

Step 1. Remove original crossmember and replace with new Chassis Engineering Crossmember. Exercise care in the removal of the rivets as these holes will be used again.

Ream drill the original holes to 3/8″ and bolt the new crossmember in place.

Step 2. Tighten all bolts.
