1. Start with rear end brackets. Spot weld brackets to rear end as shown below. Brackets are mounted 90 degrees to the ground. Set pinion 4 degrees up. Pinion should point up the same angle the crank shaft points down. Do not point pinion at transmission. Pinion and crankshaft should be on parallel lines.
2. If brackets for circle around rear end, they must be cut apart and re-welded around axle.
3. Set completed rear under car (without springs) and clamp into place. Attach front brackets to frame after double checking rear end alignment and wheel centering. Be sure all bars are adjusted the same, with 3/8 of thread showing. We have found most to be centered in the wheel opening when the axle is 1/4th inch behind original. Check!
4. Double-check installation and finish weld.
